I.A.L.P. Class of 2000 begins the National Travel Seminar in Washington D.C.
IALP Class of 2000 at the White House
The I.A.L.P. Class of 2000 takes advantage of a "photo opp" in front of the White House.
Dr Alan Cohen discusses Social Security and the Federal Budget.
Dr. Alan Cohen (right), Senior Advisor to the Secretary for Economics and Budget, U.S. Dept. of Treasury  discusses Social Security and the Federal Budget.  Dr. Cohen outlined President Clinton's four-part budget plan to retire the Unified Budget Deficit by 2018.
Dr. Joseph J. Minarik, Associate Director of Economic Policy, Office of Managment and Budget,  described the Clinton Administration's view on how the budget was balanced by both cuts in spending and increases in receipts.

Jane Feagans thanks Terry Fredrickson, CEO of AgriBank
Jane Feagans (IALP Class of 2000) thanks Terry Fredrickson, CEO, AgriBank, FCB, for his continued support of the IALP, following his comments on the farm financial crisis.  Frederickson described the current political outlook on agricultural issues.  He stated that agriculture is receiving more attention in Congress than it has in recent years. 
 
 

 

 


The mission of the IALF is to develop knowledgeable and effective spokespersons to become policy and decision makers for the agricultural industry.
