March 1-2, 2002

Chicago U.S.A. to Beijing

Beijing, China

The Illinois Agricultural Leadership group started off their International trip with their flight from Chicago O’hare on Friday March 1 and proceeded to Beijing, China via Tokyo arriving Saturday evening at midnight. The 31 of us (including our leader, Joyce Watson) spent over 16.5 hours in the air leaving behind family and friends to fight the coming snow and cold.

Anticipation rises as everyone checks in for their flight.

Reporting only one bag lost in travel by Marty Ahrends. She came prepared and the bag should be here soon.
