Illinois Ag Leadership Program (IALP) participants – past and present – are encouraged to nominate a person who exemplifies agricultural leadership. The bi-annual Torch of Leadership Award is presented to alumni of the IALP who have demonstrated exceptional leadership skills through personal commitment and service to agriculture in their professional life, community, government, or education. These contributions can be at a local, state, national, or international level and will be evaluated based on the information provided in the nomination form.

The Torch of Leadership Award will be presented at the IALP Alumni CONNECT event, scheduled for August 22 in Bloomington, IL.
